Travel Notes: Day 1 (KL-HO CHI MIN-FRANKFURT)

It was not really an exciting trip, but I have come to prepare myself. Our Flights via Vietnam Airlines take off from KLIA at 830PM local time and expected to arrive HCM by 11PM. So far, I have no complaint of the flights. it went smooth and silky. Due to the haze season in Malaysia I was quite amuse by the fact that the pilot might not see anything at all.

Arrived at Frankfurt around 6am local time. 10° of coldness come and approach. I was quite scared of this season. I was not really into cold and winter and layering my clothes. but I wish myself the best for this trip.

Then we spend sometimes waiting for the bus driver before heading to the city of Kohn. glad that the tour bus is nice. Plus a handsome driver. Everybody in Frankfrut driving merc, which of course, its their national car and it is cheaper.

The morning traffic is not a joke too.. maybe because its monday. We were behind schedule for about 30 mins. I bet now everyone is hungry.

we finally arrived at this Chinese restaurant at Kohn (Cologne). Well, not being racist but you know how Chinese work. A little too fast to clean up and all. The lunch was so so. I don’t really enjoying the  chinese food in German.

#SyiqahTravelTips: the availibilty of water in the toilet is limited therefore, it advisable bring your own water bottle anywhere.

So then we continued figuring out the church which is listed by UNESCO. Built during the Medieval era, the architecture seems great. I am pinching myself thinking how wonderful to witness all the thing that  have learn in the architecture school before. the clash of christian and protestant  and how i love history. I was doing tour in the church before a lady put a glimpse of me. Probably bcz i am wearing tudung inside the church. No big deal guys, entering church does not make you less muslim at all.

I was still hungry and decided to run a little bit to this one cafe located at the the front of McDonalds to grab anything nice. I think the bakery name is Kamp. My friend once asked me to try out any of German Croissant and start comparing it to the one in Paris. So I did. and OMG, their croissant is the best. Its crunchy and soft in the middle. It exactly how
a croissant should be. I would die to have it once again right now.

at the front of Kamp is a souvenirs shop and when writing this down, I am quite disappointed for not buying the snow globe to bring back home. I might still be in shock and not believing I am in German.

I think if we have more time, I would love to tour around this lovely town. It was nice and fun and calm and I started to enjoy every second of it.
